To help you improve your papers, here is a checklist before submitting your papers:

1. My first sentence states clearly the purpose of my paper.

2. I stated well the thesis of my paper.

3. I organized my statements around the thesis of my paper.

4. Each of my paragraphs had one clear theme and the rest of my statements cohered  with this theme.

5. I choose the right words for my thoughts.

6. I did not abruptly change my subjects from "I" to "YOU" or from "You" to "we."

7. I did not leave orphan any statement, or I had no sweeping statements.

8. I put proper punctuations in my sentences. I put apostrophe in my possessives. I spelled the words correctly.

I observed proper margins and spacing.

I used clear type fonts.

I used 8.5" x 11" bond papers.

I had acknowledged all the references from which I derived my ideas.

I used proper format for my reference.

I claim originality of my paper. This is my own work.
